Monarch Readers support early reading with 30 decodable books organized into 5 levels. Our books help children see the beauty in themselves and the world around them and meet the 5 criteria for high-quality decodable books.
About Monarch Readers
We believe that beginning readers deserve phonetically-controlled, beautiful books. While children learn to read, we also want them to learn that reading is fun. Children deserve “mirrors” that help them see the beauty in themselves, as well as “windows” that help them see the beauty in the world around them. Monarch Readers were written by two teachers from Magnolia Montessori For All, which is a free-public Montessori school in Austin, Texas. You can find the Scope & Sequence we follow here.
